at Orce Serrano Hams we send you that very special taste
of Spain direct to your door. As the name suggests we
specialise in "jamones" or Serrano and Iberico
hams - Spanish hams are famous throughout the world for
their taste and texture. Our hams are arguably the best
in the region, using only the finest hogs available.
The
Serrano (mountain) ham is cured in perfect conditions,
high up in the Andalucian hills, with hot summers, cold
winters and low humidity. These hams have been cured in
the same way for generations using traditional methods
and recipes, passed down through families. We have carefully
chosen our local suppliers who also produce their own
charcuterie and whose recipes have been developed over
the years. This means we enjoy access to a whole range
of chorizo, salchichon, lomo and other cured products.
We ourselves pick your order from the secadero
then it is hand packed and quality checked by us before
it leaves Spain.
Our
aim and our approach is unique. We only supply traditional
products which are shipped direct from Andalucia, thus
ensuring that our customers are experiencing the true
and authentic taste of Spain. Many of the local tapas
bars in the area enjoy serving the same products we supply
to their own Spanish customers, so you could say that
we have our own resident "taste testers!"
