Espigares Pelaez who is also a member of the
local forestry commission.
Produced
deep in the mountainous forests of Exfiliana
near to Guadix in the Granada region, this is
a truly exquisite honey from traditional artisan
production with the highest standards, hence
a limited annual production of only 4000 kilos.
The honey is a pale golden colour and is velvety
smooth with a heavenly mild flavour and delicate
hints of the forest; you can almost taste the
mountainous air and luscious local plants with
every spoonful.
