SERRANO HAM PIECES
Spanish ham pieces are the ideal solution for those who may wish to enjoy their cured ham over a longer period. Ham pieces are also easily carved and boast all the flavour of full bone in legs. Choose from smaller ham pieces, ideal for taste testing and which make great gifts for any occasion. Full and half Orce reserva boneless hams are also available and can be machine sliced. Each piece is cut to order and comes vacuum packed for freshness as well as being presented in a breathable muslin sock.

Serrano Ham Maza Aneja
The "Maza" often regarded as the best part of a ham is the top two thirds of the leg. The bone and hoof have been removed resulting in a large piece of ham for easy carving. These exquisite pieces come from the Anejo Especial, are cured for two years and boast the same flavour as the full leg. Vacuum packed for freshness. 3kg approximately.

Serrano Ham Babilla
A lovely piece of vacuum packed flavoursome Serrano ham, around 1.5kg in weight this ham piece comes from our 24 month cured reserva. The "Babilla" is the meat from the top of the leg, once the ham is hung for curing this part of the leg acquires slightly more salt so the flavour is slightly stronger. Easy to carve for the perfect tapa. Ideal accompaniments include bossy reserva red wines, Manchego or goats cheeses, salted almonds and a range of fruits.

From the top of the leg comes this succulent 1.3kg Serrano ham piece or “Punta”. Favoured for its marginally higher fat content compared to the babilla your ham has a creamy white fat running through the meat. Cut by hand to order directly from a Serrano ham reserva this piece is easily sliced and boasts a delicious reserva flavour and aroma. 1.3kg approximately.
