Cured hams from Andalucia come from the hind leg of the pig. The hoof and skin remain and each ham weighs in the region of 7.5 kg. The curing time varies with each ham ranging from a minimum of 12 months up to 18 months for the Serrano and 24 months plus for the extra special Iberico hams.

A fine flavoured 5kg ham from the Sierra de Maria. This boneless ham has been cured for 12 months and produces a slightly milder flavour than the reserva, with the bone and excess fat removed this ham is very easy to carve. Vacuum packed for your convenience.

Cured for 13 months in the village of Orce this ham is great value for money, approx 7 kg in weight and comes in its own "ham sock" direct from the Carniceria of "Julian" in Orce who also supplies the local restaurants and tapas bars.

Serrano Ham Curado Serrano Ham Curado
Cured for 14 months this ham is of reserva quality and taste. The secadero of "Ovalo" is one of the regions finest Serrano ham producers with many of their product used in local hotels and restaurants the flavour of this 7.5 kg Serrano ham is slightly stronger on the palate and has a wonderful after taste.

This strong flavoured ham is cured for 14 - 15 months using traditional methods. Alpujarras Grand Reserva Especial Alpujarras Grand Reserva Especial
Cured for a minimum of 18 months this gran reserva boasts supreme flavour and texture. Slightly more intense than the younger reserva with a deep red colouration and unique aroma. This artisan ham is red label class and produces a mixture of stronger tones; ideal partners would include goat's cheese, Rioja, Manzanilla wines and Fino sherries.

This superb mature gran reserva ham is cured for 22 - 24 months and boasts the black label for maturity. Hung high up on knotted rope the old fashioned way for nearly two years this ham possesses a texture unlike any other. You will first notice the mild flavour and distinctive aroma before the ham almost melts in the mouth. A must for any connoisseur and a rare delight direct from the Sierras mountain range in Andalucia. 8kg.

The "Maza" often regarded as the best part of a ham is the top two thirds of the leg. The bone and hoof have been removed resulting in a large piece of ham for easy carving. These exquisite pieces come from the Anejo Especial, are cured for two years and boast the same flavour as the full leg. Vacuum packed for freshness. 2.8kg approximately.

A lovely piece of vacuum packed flavoursome Serrano ham, around 1.5kg in weight this ham piece comes from our 24 month cured reserva. The "Babilla" is the meat from the top of the leg, once the ham is hung for curing this part of the leg acquires slightly more salt so the flavour is slightly stronger. Easy to carve for the perfect tapa, goes very well with deep reds or fino sherry.

Serrano Ham Punta Bodega Serrano Ham Punta Bodega
Boasting a more intense flavour the "Punta" is the cut of ham furthest from the hoof. Vacuum packed and cut to order from the boneless bodega ham the punta is a leaner piece of ham with less fat than its maza cousin. Slighter firmer in texture this cut goes exceptionally well with mild cheeses and is ideal for Spanish tapas. Approximately 1.7kg
