The
idea behind Orce Serrano Hams has now been realised
with many happy customers but how exactly did it
come about?
On
our viewing visit to the area we sampled a taste
of hams produced in the local villages as well as
other cured meats. To be sure of going ahead with
our life changing re-location we had to be sure
of the primary things that were important to us.
One
of these important factors was and is food. We had
heard about the famous Serrano Ham and Iberico hams
previously but had never sampled the real thing!
When we did, almost immediately Orce Serrano Hams
was born.
Over
the years we have been approached by authors, food
writers, journalists, bloggers and even the BBC
to contribute recipes to cookery books, offer factual
information on Spanish produce and organise filming
for television.
