Serrano
Ham and Broad Beans
This
is a very simple tapas recipe that is popular in many bars and
restaurants in Andalucia. Broad beans are a favourite with village
locals - either cooked or uncooked this pairing creates a delicious
flavour combination.
You
will need:
Fresh
broad beans
Freshly sliced Serrano ham
Olive oil
Method
- Cut
the ham directly from the leg in short narrow slices.
- Arrange
around the shelled broad beans.
- Drizzle
the ham with olive oil.
The
broad beans can be also be lightly boiled for this dish.
