RECIPE FROM SPAIN:

Aromatic RibsAromatic Ribs

You will need:

1 kilo pork ribs
½ glass tomato juice
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried oregano
2 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
3 tablespoons wine vinegar
Salt and pepper

Method

  • In a large bowl, mix together the tomato juice, soy sauce, thyme, oregano, garlic and wine vinegar. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add the ribs and mix well. Leave to marinade for an hour or so in the fridge.
  • Cook the ribs on the barbeque or grill for 8 - 10 minutes each side, basting with the marinade during cooking.
  • Serve with a tomato salad and baked potatoes.
