Serrano ham and smoked salmon salad

Serrano ham and smoked salmon saladThis recipe for smoked salmon salad combines Serrano ham and a gourmet olive oil from the Jaen region of Andalucia. A simple salad starter with great flavours. Especially good for eating "al fresco" and at any time during the summer months or Christmas day.

You will need:

200g Hand sliced Serrano ham
200g Sliced smoked salmon
"Gourmet" extra virgin olive oil
4 Sliced rings of red pepper
4 Slices of cucumber
Mixed salad leaves

Method

  • Arrange the salad leaves on side plates.
  • Cut the ham slices into strips and arrange over the top of the salad.
  • Add the red pepper, a few more slices of ham then the slice of cucumber.
  • Roll up the sliced salmon and carefully place on top.
  • Drizzle generously with extra virgin olive oil.

Serves 4
